The Indian Youth Committee represents depth and unlimited scope for personality development. It endeavors to inculcate the culture of reading, public speaking, research, and conﬁdence building, forming informed opinions. The students share with peers their views on national and international issues in the form of debates, lectures, book reading sessions etc.
Indian Youth Committee envisions a true democracy. It believes that its efforts through innovation will bridge the gap between ‘what is’ and ‘what should be’. It aims to mobilize the youth and empowering every element of a growing nation like India that has been foreseen by our constitution makers. The Indian Youth Committee makes persistent efforts to sensitize the youth towards the needs of the incapacitated, discriminated and the isolates.
Discussion took place regarding the status quo of Article 370 prevalent since 1950s and the problems related to separatism and economic development in Kashmir valley.
IYC in collaboration with the local authorities and MNC, Gurgaon, initiated cleanliness drive in sector- 55,56 and 15.
Plantation Drive was organised by Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon. IYC was part of this mission and contributed its part with the officials of MCG
IYC encouraged students from all batches of the School to participate in a healthy and vibrant academic discussion. Women Rights, International Conventions, domestic laws and representation issues were in core agenda of the discussion.
