An Emergency Medical Technology can be defined as “a comprehensive system which provides the arrangements of personnel, facilities and equipment for the effective, coordinated and timely delivery of health and safety services to victims of sudden illness or injury
During the course, B.Sc in Emergency Medical Technology, candidates are educated to provide timely care to victims of sudden and life threatening injuries or emergencies in order to prevent mortality or long term morbidity. It includes pre-hospital care and care in the emergency department.
Duration: 4 Year programme including 1 year of clinical internship
Eligibility: 12th PCB/PCM. A minimum percentage or equivalent aggregate of 40% is required at the level of 12thexaminations, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other recognized state board of the country.

Graduates of B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology has numerous job opportunities not only in India but all over the world. After successful completion of the course, one can find a job in Emergency Medical Services, various government and private hospitals.
