As an alumni, the most important part of becoming an architect at SSAA was the manner in which this institution moulded and helped us in our personal and intellectual growth . From learning how to draw a straight line on paper to a dream of designing an actual building , this institute provided us the perfect infrastructure for the dream run. More than the culture , the teachers at this institute were a mixture of young and experienced architects , giving us a dual perspective learning at the same time.
I believe design cannot be taught, but under the guidance of eminent professors at SSAA, one can always push boundaries and explore new dimensions. Each day has been a new learning experience for me; whether in studios, field tours or during campus activities, from seniors or from juniors. From a naive designer to an architect, the years in Sushant have moulded me into a responsible citizen and I am working towards building a better environment.
SSAA taught me to think beyond boundaries. Be unconventional, imaginative and above all, trust yourself – all these things taught in a brilliant manner through the pedagogy at SSAA. SSAA was a big step that I took in my career and I can say(as an Alumni) it was the best step that I took in my life. While I was thinking of Siddharth: The Prisoner, extreme support and thoughtful guidance were a constant and great boost to my energy and motivation in creating a successful project. An overwhelming academic and personal experience! Highly recommended.
