Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
WHEREAS an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) was earlier constituted by the Ansal University vide its Notification dated October 9. 2018 under Section 4 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act. 2013.
WHEREAS, in supersession of the above Notification dated October 9, 2018, the Internal Complaints Committee is now required to be re-cast in consonance with the UGC Notification dated May 2, 2016 in terms of the University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassments of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015 framed under clause (g) of sub section (1) of Section 20 of the UGC Act. 1956.
In view of the above, therefore, it has been decided to re-cast the composition of the Internal Complaints Committee as tabulated below, consisting, inter alia, of three representatives from the students' fraternity and one representative from the NGOs:

The students' representatives included in the Committee may be associated in the meeting when any issue pertaining to the student fraternity is to be deliberated.
The term of the office of the members of the ICC shall be for a period of three years from the date of the Notification dated December 18. 2019.
This issues with the prior approval of the Chancellor.
